Responsible for co-ordinating marketing and promotional activities for the Faculty. This involves linking with local schools and FE Colleges to promote Faculty courses, liaising with the Press Office to raise the profile of the Faculty and identifying promotional opportunities and production of all promotional material.
Commenced in the Health Service in 1972 and as a result of nurse education linking with higher education, moved to the University in 1991. During this period Gaynor was responsible for the recruitment, marketing and admissions processes for all Care Science courses.
Gaynor is interested in fair admissions, equal opportunities and diversity, having studied these topics as part of her degree in Combined Studies. She is also interested in widening access and has been instrumental in promoting and recruiting to a module designed to engage returning learners to education.
