Katie graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC) in 2009 following completion of the MChiro undergraduate master’s degree. She worked in private practice in SW England for several years. She spent her first few years advancing her skills in techniques focusing on pregnancy and paediatric patients. She returned to Cardiff in 2015 and became a clinical supervising tutor in WIOC supervising the 4th year chiropractic student clinicians in the outpatient clinic, whilst also continuing to practice in the area. In 2017 she volunteered with the World Spine Care charity in Botswana which aims to provide evidence based, efficacious MSK care to underserviced worldwide communities. She has also completed post graduate training in western medical acupuncture, myofascial release techniques and clinical pilates.
