Marc’s current research looks at possible opportunities for Corporate Manslaughter type offences to be transposed into International or Transnational Criminal Law. Marc has a particular interest in researching the theoretical application of “hard law” internationally to combat failings that permeate the supply chain and lead to tragic events such as the Rana Plaza building collapsing and the Tazreen fires.
Marc also takes an interest in the “soft law” responses to the same problem and the work of international organisations such as the United Nations, World Trade Organisation, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and the International Labour Organisation.
