Palliative care across the curriculum and branches, pre-registration and post registration which, includes care in the community, hospice and acute sector. Award Leader for the Post Graduate Certificate in Palliative care distance learning award and also Cancer nursing across the curriculum, mainly distance learning modules specifically the impact of the disease and symptom management.


Several clinical positions across the sector prior to entering the school, these included staff nurse positions in general surgery and community hospital. Ward sister hospice care and a clinical nurse specialist role within the community and general hospital.

1996 – Booklet published “Following a Bereavement”. Three separate publications on practical advice at the time of death. Previously used, through the Rhondda NHS Trust.
