Rachel joined the University of South Wales in 2014. Prior to this, Rachel trained at an American firm in London where she qualified as a solicitor into their employment department. She subsequently moved back to South Wales where she worked as an employment solicitor in a large national firm. During this time, she spent 12 months on secondment to a FTSE 250 company where she was the sole employment solicitor.
Whilst at the University of South Wales Rachel has lectured in many areas of law including employment, contract and civil litigation. Rachel’s main areas of interest are employment law and clinical legal education. She is actively involved in the Legal Advice Clinic supervising students providing employment law advice to members of the public.
In 2017, Rachel was awarded a distinction in Post Graduate Certificate in Developing Professional Practice in Higher Education.
