Teresa has been lecturing at the university since 1999. Part-time since 2010, her teaching is now focused on taxation and financial reporting and that is where her research interests lie. Prior to lecturing, Teresa worked in finance and accounting roles within practice, industry and public sector. She is fortunate to have close links with an accounting practice enabling her to keep informed of current working practices and issues. Teresa has taught accounting related modules across undergraduate, post-graduate and professional courses, although the majority of her teaching is presently concentrated on the professional accountancy programmes.
