I am an accredited and registered BACP therapist. I originally qualified as a counsellor from UWE in Bristol, then worked for the NHS in North Somerset via the charitable agency PRS. I practice at Clinics in Cardiff and Monmouth where I supervise a number of qualified therapists and work with both individuals and couples, having trained extensively in couples counselling.
In 2014 I completed stage 2 of the Diploma in Relational Couples Therapy with David Slattery in Stroud
2014/15 will be my ninth year on the Diploma in Counselling Integrative Pathway and I am delighted to module lead the second year of the new programme. I enjoy my co-lecturing with Lesley Spencer the programme lead which takes place throughout the Integrative Diploma.

And most recently jointly facilitated a workshop at the 8th Newport Research Conference in June 2015; the workshop was titled ’Drifting in each other’s thoughts: a corss modality workshop exploring how different approaches synthesize in practice with a particular focus on therapist drift, the use of story, counsellor agency and patient diagnosis.
I have been part of the BACP accredited PG Diploma in Counselling & Pschotherapy lecture team since 2006 and currently module lead the afternoon skills and personal development sessions. I also lecture and supervise on the Masters programme.
