Having worked for 25 years in Personnel and Development, Claire became interested in what hindered individual performance. She trained as a management development coach and action learning facilitator before deciding on a career change which began in 2002. Following her training, Claire joined the University as a Visiting Lecturer teaching on Counselling and Creative Therapies programmes until she joined the permanent staff at the University in 2011 to teach counselling.
