Susan Williamson is Course Leader for the on-campus and online MSc in Business Psychology courses at the University of South Wales and with our UNICAF partnership. She also delivers specialist Business Psychology Masterclasses both internal and external to the university, specialising in areas related to Organisational Health and Well Being, and employee development. Susan joined the university in 2006 following a career of extensive teaching and research experience in both Further and Higher Education contexts. She has provided a range of research and consultancy services to the local community and organisations in South Wales around Resilience Development, the application of Positive Psychology practices in working environments and employee learning and development.

Current Research:
Susan’s current research focuses on two key strands of psychological resilience: promoting psychological resilience in working environments and the impact of learning on psychological resilience.

Postgraduate Research Supervision:
Susan has supervised numerous postgraduate students undertaking quantitative and qualitative research in a number of fields within Business Psychology. This has included students projects in Employee Health and Well Being as well as Effective Communication within Organisations.

Other Research Interests:
Susan also works on collaborative research projects with colleagues and students in areas which focus on Organisational Culture and Change, as well as Employee Identity and Self-Efficacy.
