About

Shirley started her career as a teacher of English, French and Religious Studies at a secondary modern school in London, before taking up the post as Head of Philosophy & Religious Studies at a sixth form college. Since moving to Newport she has taught across a wide range of courses including the BA Primary Studies and the BA Philosophy & Religious Studies. In her current post as Director of MA Programmes in SHALL/FESS she manages the MA Education & LNA which houses the interwoven specialist awards in Autism, CAMH, Early Years, ESDGC, ICT, Leadership and Management, RE, SEN and TESOL/TEAL.
