Sheila is a HCPC registered Chartered Counselling psychologist and a BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist.
Sheila joined the teaching staff at the University of South Wales (previously the University of Wales, Newport) in January 2008 and is a senior lecturer/course leader on the MSc/PGDip Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy.
She is currently doing a doctorate at City University London.
Sheila’s early career was in commercial management and in organisational/occupational psychology. She held senior management roles in the private sector including a professional services firm providing consultancy and training services working with many large public and private organisations. Sheila retrained as a Counselling Psychologist and has a special interest in PTSD and Social anxiety.

British Psychological Society- Chartered psychologist, member of the Division of counselling psychology and Special Interest Group in Coaching.
