Paul has spent his career in stage, film, radio and TV as a professional actor, director, deviser and published writer. In the mid 1970s he studied at the Focus Theatre (Dublin) under Deirdre O’Connell before moving onto the Brendan Smith Theatre Academy. Further training ensued at The Abbey Theatre, Dublin under the guidance of renowned teacher/actor Ray McAnally. Paul has acted at The National Theatre (London), The Abbey Theatre (Dublin), The Royal Court (London), The Project Arts Center (Dublin) and many more. Away from the stage Paul worked as a screen actor in several small and large screen productions.
