About

Dr Mostafa Darwish joined the University in 2007. A member of the UK Committee on Climate Change since 2008, Dr Darwish holds a BSc ( Eng) Hons from Helwan University in Cairo, and a PHD from Brunel University. He also obtained his Diplom-Ingenieur “Dipl.Ing” and Doctor Technica” Dr.techn” from the Technical University of Vienna, Austria. Dr Darwish’s research interests cover the area of Modern Power Electronics: High Efficiency Power Converters, Power Factor Correction, Active Power Filters, and High Frequency Transformers, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Nonlinear Simulation Techniques, Methods of Modern Control, Fuzzy Logic, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Renewable Energy Systems, Electric Vehicle.
