Research

Current Research: The Life and Work of Elisabeth Inglis-Jones (1900 – 1994).

Elisabeth Inglis-Jones was a prolific writer of Welsh Anglophone fiction and a biographer with a passion for Gothic architecture. Her novels, often depicting life within the Anglo-Welsh squirearchy, are now long out of print but were generally well received. My research examines issues of gender and identity within her novels, and the influence of history and hiraeth in all of her work.
