LLB hons Law degree, PG Diploma in Legal Practice, PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching (HE), FHEA
My name is Sarah Grabham and I am the Head of the School of Law, Accounting and Finance, part of the Faculty of Business and Society at the University of South Wales. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a qualified Solicitor, specialising in employment law and human resources.
I trained and qualified as a Solicitor in a large commercial law firm in Cardiff. I spent 13 years in private practice specialising in commercial litigation and latterly, employment law and human resources. As part of that role, I regularly delivered training to clients and this subsequently became the main focus of my role.
I started lecturing law in 2012 for a local FE College and for the University of Glamorgan. In 2013 I joined the University of South Wales as a Lecturer in Law. I subsequently progressed from Lecturer to Director of the Legal and Financial Advice Clinic, to Academic Manager, Associate Head of Law and now Head of the School of Law, Accounting and Finance.
