Christopher Webb known as Chris
I began working for First Campus in 2007 and during my time with the project I’ve developed the ability to design and coordinate innovative and strategically focused activities. Regularly working with Communities First teams, charities and community groups to facilitate effective educational opportunities for young people in South East Wales.
I have six years teaching and coaching experience working with all ages in a variety of formal and informal settings.
I’m responsible for implementing and coordinating the Family Learning and Further Education programmes for First Campus across SE Wales. Working collaboratively with HEI and FE partners, partnership schools and community groups to ensure effective programme delivery.
Outside work I’m an avid volleyball player and am keen to develop the sport in Wales. As a board member of Volleyball Wales I was part of a small team who developed a three year strategic action plan for the development of the sport in Wales and in 2011 I wrote a successful bid to the world governing body of volleyball (FIVB) and received funding to increase particpation through competitions and coach education.
