I am an occupational psychologist and teach in the areas of occupational psychology, individual differences and research methods. I am also the course leader for the BSc Applied Psychology. My professional work in applied psychology has been very broad and included research and development of training for diagnostic reasoning in complex process-control industries; the reduction of credit-card fraud for the Home Office and the banking industry; design and delivery of bespoke management and leadership development programmes. I am currently involved in several projects on changing behaviour in moving to a ‘low-carbon economy’ and also in the development of psychological well-being and resilience in individuals and teams.
