1999: Writer/director ‘Meanwhile’ (15 mins, 35mm) which was nominated for the D.M.Davies Award at the International Film Festival of Wales, 1999; nominated Best Short Film BAFTA Wales 2000; nominated Best Short Film, International Crime and Mystery Festival, Courmayeur, Italy 2001 and screened in a number of other European film festivals, including Bilbao and San Sebastian.
2002: Director, Wales BAFTA-winning, ‘When Pele Broke Our Hearts’, for BBC2 Wales was also a contributing director to ‘Dal Yma: Nawr’, a feature-length creative documentary for S4C.
2003: Writer/director ‘Textual @traction’ (12 mins, 35mm) which is both a short film and a repeatable ground breaking interactive event that extends the boundaries of cinema through the intimacy of mobile phone communication.
The international interactive premier of ‘Textual @traction’ took place at the International Festival of New Film in Split, Croatia in early July 2004; featured in the Stella Artois Screens After Dark Tour; nominated UK BAFTA Interactive Award 2005; Winner, Best New Media: Interactive Award at the Celtic Film Festival 2005, Cardiff 2005; Winner, Welsh Development Agency Best Innovation Award, announced at the Cardiff Screen Festival in November 2004.
As a stand-alone film ‘Textual @traction’ has been selected by: The Los Angeles International Short Film Festival 2004 (Academy of Motion Picture Arts-listed); Glastonbury Festival Shorts 2004; Portobello Film Festival, London 2004; and the Atlantic Film Festival 2005, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The broadcast premier, a world TV first for an interactive film, took place on S4C on January 25th 2006, under its Welsh title ‘Caru Tx’.

2007: Writer/director, ‘Watch Me!’ (13 mins), a short interactive drama that combines cinema and telephone video messaging. Nominated, Best Short Film BAFTA Wales 2008; Official Selection, Strasbourg International Film Festival 2008 and Nominated Best Short Screenplay; Official Selection, International Competition, Interfilm Berlin International Short Film Festival 2008.
