I am responsible for rolling out STEM programmes for KS 3 & 4 pupils in schools and colleges across South East Wales.
The aim of the Hands on Science (HoS) project is to raise pupils’ achievement and aspirations in these STEM subjects and to encourage them to study them beyond GCSE level. We also hope to improve their knowledge of career opportunities in these areas and encourage them to go on to study STEM subjects at degree level.
The First Campus Hands on Science project is a Reaching Wider initiative funded by HEFCW (Higher Education Funding Council for Wales).
