Jacqueline Neale known as Jacqui
BSc (Hons) Computer Studies
MSc Technology for Teaching and Learning
PRINCE 2 certified
Working within the Blended Learning Services team, Jacqui provides advice and support to academics on the integration of technology within their teaching practice. Jacqui comes from a lecturing and training background herself, having worked for both the public and private sector. She has many years experience working as an Instructional Designer and Learning Technology Adviser and can effectively project manage the development of entire academic programmes online.
The emphasis for Jacqui in suggesting technological tools is that any change should promote positive change within the teaching and learning process and so her suggestions and advice will always be driven from a pedagogic perspective. She also appreciates how important it is to remember that we are all human and that adapting to change can often be difficult.
Jacqui’s approach when working with academic staff is to offer support which ultimately leaves them feeling empowered and more confident as they continue to move forward within their own teaching practice.
