About

Craig is a journalist, documentary filmmaker, horror festival producer and a university lecturer.
He is the Course Leader for BA Journalism and is currently putting the finishing touches on a major documentary on a legendary hard rock band for Sky Arts (due for broadcast in January 2017). He also runs the International Vampire Film and Arts Festival in Transylvania every May.

Experience

Craig was a newspaper journalist for five years, mainly writing for the tabloids with a focus on crime reporting. He then moved to ITV News, again with a focus on crime but covering everything from surfing dogs to major sporting events. From news, Craig moved sideways within ITV to become an investigative journalist and producer on the award-winning investigative documentary series ‘Wales This Week’. Craig left ITV to set up his own production company – Coolhead – and began producing arts documentaries and concert films. He still runs this company alongside his lecturing at the University of South Wales. He is also the creator and co-producer of the world’s biggest vampire arts festival: the International Vampire Film and Arts Festival in Transylvania.
