Responsible for delivering and developing all aspects within the discipline of football coaching & performance. A highly respected coach and coach educator with extensive experience of working with elite athletes and developing elite coaching programmes.
Formerly worked for the Football Association of Wales Trust: Technical Department, and mainly responsible for the development of talented players through monitoring and evaluating academy programmes, and working extensively within the FAW regional development programmes for players aged 13-15 years.
While supporting talented players through providing technical support to the Wales U16’s National Team in preparation for the Victory Shield.
Additionally provided sport science support to numerous Welsh National Teams in preparation for competitions.
Further to this supported many current professional mangers and professional players in gaining their coaching qualifications as a instructor, mentor and assessor on the UEFA A License Coaching Programme.
Also as part the FAW Coach Education working group supported the development of new resources to ensure courses reflected the ever changing football environment.
More recently developed the New Youth Coaching Pathway in Wales – by leading the working group responsible for new youth specific licenses at Level 2 (C’ Certificate) to Level 4 (A Youth) – which is due to released in June 2013.
