I am a qualified counsellor and have worked as a volunteer in secondary schools in addition to working with adults.
I lead a large team of Academics who deliver a range of therapy and counselling courses from undergraduate level through to DPsych qualifications. Additionally Therapeutic Studies includes a clinic and is responsible for a range of delivery contracts in the South Wales region.
I have experience of successfully deputising for Chief Executives, reporting directly at Governors’ level and maintaining budgets to ensure efficiency.
I have been responsible for College Higher Education provision and quality processes, establishing and maintaining a viable university centre ethos that differentiated and offered a district identity for HE students within an FE setting.
Previously I have held roles such as Head of Faculty for Care, Health and Education as my background is Early Years Practitioner and teacher training.
